Presently he is the Chief Coordinator of Adult Basic Education Society (ABES), Rawalpindi. His contribution as an educationist is commendable. He is successful in establishing ABES- Teacher Empowerment Centre through which thousands of teachers have been trained on Multi grade Teaching’ Joyful Learning and Child Friendly Schools and Quality Education approaches and modern techniques. 2 Mr. Hamidullah/Trustee Since last two decades he is involved in uplifting the communities of marginalized areas of Rawalpindi. Our Vision
In wake of looming climate change catastrophes, we strive for a behavioral change to turn Pakistan into a clean and healthy society. Our mission is to proactively anticipate the increasing demand for assistance in the field of waste management and sanitation and improve the situation faced by marginalized communities through waste characterization studies, impart training to stakeholders, setting up dual purpose integrated resource recovery centers and collaborate with like-minded partners to assist the communities have better hygiene and sanitation facilities and a cleaner environment.

Dr Akhtar Hameed Khan Memorial Association formerly known as Dr Akhtar Hameed Khan Memorial Trust is a non-profit organization (NPO) working in the fields of sanitation and solid waste management across Pakistan for over twenty-two years. It was established to spread out community development philosophy of renowned and legendary social scientist, Dr. Akhtar Hameed Khan. Besides expertise in handling solid waste and sanitation models, AHKMA also has the grasp at conducting research studies on solid waste management and imparting trainings to the people from different walks of life.
